Inmate Identity Validation

This section of the wiki discusses details about how personal identification numbers (PINs) are used to enable inmates to make calls in The ENFORCER® IVR.

Additionally, this section discusses optional modules in The ENFORCER® that can be used to prevent fraudulent use of the IVR by unauthorized inmates such as inmates who are currently suspended from making calls.

Included in this section:

• How inmate PINs are defined per the facility’s specifications, as well as how these PINs are assigned and edited in The ENFORCER®.
• Using The Verifier℠, an optional module in The ENFORCER®, which is used to validate the inmate’s spoken voice prior to initiation of a call to a called party.
• Using The Imposter℠, an optional module in The ENFORCER®, which is used to detect suspected inmate imposter voices during a call between an inmate and a called party.
