About the IVR Systems
When inmates and calling parties place phone calls, these calls are dialed and completed through Integrated Voice Response (IVR) systems. The ENFORCER® calling platform is supported by two main IVRs.
- The ENFORCER® Inmate IVR: Used by inmates. Inmates may use this IVR to place outside calls to friends, family, or legal professionals such as attorneys or bail bonding companies.
- The ICS AttendantSM IVR: Used by calling parties. Calling parties may include friends and family of inmates, legal professionals who may represent inmates, correctional facility employees, and law enforcement personnel.
These IVRs have been programmed with a wide range of voice prompts and messages that play to the inmate, called party, calling party, or both parties. These prompts and messages collect required information and direct inmates, called parties, and calling parties through call billing, verification checks, information requests/retrieval, and actual phone conversations.
